Located in what we would call a back alley in central Lausanne is a new bar & bistro that has major skater vibes. Impressive boards line the walls between minimalist Scandi shelving, and a Scrabble style menu showcases local libations, including several organic and living wines and beers.
During the day you’ll find freelancers and independents nestled in with laptops and notebooks open, sipping on coffees from Valaisan specialty coffee roastery Xalala or artisanal lemonades. And as the afternoon melts into evening, this is where Superposé boasts its magic.
With a wide selection of local meats and cheeses, apero-enthusiasts can design their own planchettes at Superposé. Select what you like, leave out what you don’t, everything is cut and sliced on the spot – as much or as little as you like. We loved sampling caramelized Gruyere, smoky tomme, and the most mature and mouthwatering blue cheese. The accompanying bread, from Les Pains des Frouzes, was absolutely divine. With a glass of Henri biodynamic orange Chasselas in hand, we knew we had encountered a special little spot in Lausanne.
