It’s hard not to have an extra bounce in our step when the sun is shining and temperatures are expected to hit high teens this week. Not only is the forecast going to be lovely, but we’ve got events that are sure to please. Here’s a round-up of what’s going on in and around Lausanne this week:
Festivals
- Les Printemps Sévelin -A contemporary dance festival blending shows of international and swiss creation, until March 20.
- The upcoming edition of Think Cinema (Rencontres 7e Art Lausanne) will be held from March 12 to 20. The 5th edition, titled Mirror Mirror, will feature a special focus on films about cinema. A wonderful opportunity to (re)discover masterpieces and cult films mirroring the multiple facets of movie-making.
- Morges Tulip Festival – it’s that time of year again! Enjoy a stroll in the most beautiful flower gardens of Lake Geneva from March 18 to May 8.
Other events
- The secrets of Kimchi revealed during a deep-dive workshop on Thursday.
- Oyka – a vintage & second-hand clothing popup on Saturday and Sunday.
- Street Cellar and Fud Läb join forces for a day to delight your taste buds on Saturday.
- Urban Trail Run Lausanne is back on Saturday night. Registrations are open until March 18!
- A mixology masterclass on Saturday, where you will be able to review the ingredients, taste them, and shake them – under the eye of B.M.’s bartenders and barmaids.
- Hummus & Wine 2022 live music session on Sunday hosted by Brasserie de Montbenon, featuring Harvey Rushmore and the Octopus & Vincent Graenicher.
