We are pleased to invite you to the opening of our new exhibitions which will take place on Thursday April 6 from 6 p.m.:
“Beirut. The times of design“
This pioneering exhibition offers a different look at design in Lebanon (1943-2023).
From the Beirut scene to the solidarity and creative project of Minjara in Tripoli, design is a privileged actor and witness of this constantly changing country.
“Dialogue between an octopus and a juicer“
From the ceramic octopus by Mai-Thu Perret to the famous citrus press by Philippe Starck: unusual combinations offer a new look at the collection, in the fields of design, glass art, ceramics, graphic arts and jewelry.
FREE ENTRANCE.
In the program :
6-7 p.m.: Opening of the exhibitions and speeches in the presence of Mrs. Nuria Gorrite – State Councilor and Head of the Department of Culture, Infrastructure and Human Resources, and Mrs. Rola Noureddine – Ambassador of Lebanon in Switzerland
7:30 p.m.: An aperitif imagined by starred chef Alan Geaam
9-11 p.m.: DJ set
