Lausanne Shakespeare Festival

The Lausanne Shakespeare Festival is the only festival in Switzerland devoted exclusively to the work of William Shakespeare. This independent festival combines plays, music and other experimental performances during the day and evening, indoors and outdoors. This year, from the 29th to the 30th of May, the festival returns for its fifth edition, which will take place at the Vortex on the UNIL campus and promises to be colourful despite the current health situation! Our festival aims to be accessible to all, which is why our programme is diverse and will appeal to young and old alike. Moreover, a health protection plan will be set up so that everyone can enjoy the festival in complete safety.
